The Oracle of Life: What Messages Are You Receiving?
Life always serves as an oracle. We simply need to be open and tuned in so that we may receive the messages. We are never without guidance, but we tend to default to the intellect to make decisions based on past experience and future expectations. This is a linear and rational approach that is extremely limited. It is static and dead because it’s not being received directly from the Higher Self (or intuition) in the present moment. It’s old news or it’s fantasies; it’s not active and alive with possibility.
Paying attention to signs and symbols that show up through songs, books, movies, other people, animals, synchronicity, etc., gives us the guidance we need to align with all that is. This is also how we notice God’s grace and blessings because sometimes things shows up in unexpected and mysterious ways. If we’re too busy focusing on our concepts and agendas, we will miss what’s unfolding in the moment.
This is one of the benefits of being present: it makes us receptive to the new and to possibilities we might have never imagined.
Why would we want to keep repeating old patterns when we can open ourselves to new experiences?
Why hang onto old ways of being and doing when we can live life with the fresh eyes of wonder?
